Product Overview

Polyurethane Coupling Spider, also known as PU Coupling Spider, GR Coupling Spider, and GS Coupling Spider, is manufactured using high-quality TPU material or molded CSM/SBR. These components are specifically designed for various metal shaft couplings, offering exceptional performance characteristics.

Material Properties

Polyurethane elastomer is a synthetic polymer material that combines the high strength of plastic with the high elasticity of rubber. Key characteristics include:

  • Wide hardness range (Shore A10-D80) while maintaining rubber-like elongation and resilience
  • High strength with superior tensile strength, tear strength, and load capacity compared to general rubber
  • Exceptional wear resistance (0.01-0.10cm³/1.61km), approximately 3-5 times better than rubber materials
  • Excellent oil resistance due to high polarity with low affinity for non-polar mineral oils
  • Good resistance to oxygen and ozone
  • Superior vibration absorption performance for damping and buffering applications
