Chevron / V / Vee Packing Made With NBR FKM PTFE for Industrial Seal
Product Overview
V-packing, also called vee packing, chevron packing, and parachute packing, is manufactured using various elastomers and PTFE-based materials. These seals are specifically designed for use in pumps and valves to effectively seal fluids or gases during operation.
Our company produces multiple-lip (chevron) seals or vee packings that consist of a group of endless rings. These are typically used for sealing rods, pistons, and plungers in hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic presses. V-packings are suitable for both low and high pressure applications with single or double acting cylinders.
V-packings are also utilized in various oilfield downhole equipment, including various valves. They are extremely suitable for medium to heavy duty applications and can accept both low and high pressure while operating in the most extreme conditions, even when misalignment exists between sealing gaps.
